French startup, IMPACT+, is on a mission to make digital advertising more sustainable. The company has just announced that it has successfully raised €2 million in a seed funding round. The investment was led by Elevation Capital Partners and Inter Invest Group Investment Management Company, and it’s expected to fuel IMPACT+’s growth, enabling it to expand its technology research and development team, enhance its subscription-based platform, and take its services to an international level.

Funding to fuel growth and sustainability

Founded by Audrey Danthony, Vincent Villaret, and Marion Cardona, IMPACT+ is an innovative sustaintech solution that focuses on measuring and reducing the carbon footprint of digital advertising campaigns. The company, headquartered in Paris, has already gained recognition for its outstanding capabilities, including the ability to incorporate social media platforms into its measurement reports. This unique approach has earned IMPACT+ a strong presence in the European market, with users spanning over 50 countries.

Since its launch in 2020, IMPACT+ has seen consistent growth, with revenue soaring by an impressive 300% from 2021 to 2022. Such rapid success has led to an expanding clientele, particularly in industries like CPG, FMCG, luxury, and automotive, with renowned brands like L’Oréal, LVMH, Heineken, BMW, P&G, Danone, and Nestlé seeking the company’s expertise.

Expanding footprint in the UK

Elevation Capital Partners, known for backing forward-thinking startups with solid economic fundamentals, was the leading investor in the seed funding round, contributing €2 million. The funding will not only propel IMPACT+’s technological advancements but also facilitate its expansion into key markets, specifically in the UK and North America.

The company’s innovative platform provides actionable insights to help brands and agencies reduce their carbon footprint and measure the effectiveness of their digital advertising campaigns. Kim Dirckx, Chief Digital Sustainability, and DEI Officer at L’Oréal, lauded the partnership with IMPACT+, highlighting its role in aiding L’Oréal’s efforts to minimise the environmental impact of their digital media campaigns.

Greener digital advertising landscape

IMPACT+ has also fostered partnerships with agencies, ad networks, and adtech companies, including Azerion, Teads, Seedtag, Snapchat, and Xandr. Together, they aim to collectively address and mitigate the environmental impact of advertising campaigns across various platforms.

Benjamin Cohen and Antoine Marvier from Elevation Capital Partners commended IMPACT+’s commitment to combating climate change, praising the company’s dedication to making sustainability an integral part of the digital advertising industry.

Vincent Villaret, the CEO of IMPACT+, expressed gratitude for the investors’ support, emphasizing the company’s vision to bridge the gap between businesses that are already taking environmental action and those seeking guidance. IMPACT+’s unwavering dedication to driving change and raising awareness of sustainable practices is key to their mission.

With this substantial seed funding, IMPACT+ is poised to drive digital advertising towards a greener and more environmentally conscious future. The company’s progress in promoting sustainability and its innovative solutions will undoubtedly shape the advertising industry for years to come.
